Apogee Travel gives you the ability to select a charity to benefit from your stay as part of your using us to book your hotel. When it comes to claiming the donation for tax purposes there are two possibilities for who claims the credit.

When booking a donated night, the hotel is responsible for the donation to charity and gets the credit for the donation. You are paying for the hotel room and staying in the room on that night, while the hotel is enabling the donation to charity.

When a donated night is not available, Apogee Travel is responsible for the donation to charity and gets the credit for the donation. You are paying for the hotel room and staying in the room on that night, while the Apogee Travel is making a donation to charity.
